5th annual Valentines triple date

On Saturday we went out with some of our best friends to celebrate Valentines Day. This was the fifth year running that we've done this triple date. We went to 3rd & Olive, in Burbank, and it was great. Good food, friends and conversation (without kids!)

We were too busy having fun at the restaurant that we forgot to take any pics. But here is the group of us plus Evey after we got back. (Jen and Ryan Mallari, Justin and Liz Gough and us)

Christmas 2008

This year our family wanted to do a service project in order to focus on Jesus and the meaning of Christmas. So we all got together, baked a TON of Christmas cookies, made ornaments, and took them to Papa's apartment complex to give to the seniors living there. It was a lot of fun being able to work together with our family and then bless others.

Jeremiah's Wedding

On our way up to San Jose for Christmas, we stopped in Monterey to attend Jeremiah and Angela's wedding. We have been blessed by Jeremiah's friendship and look forward to getting to know Angela even better!

Sick girl

Momma's home with Evey today because she is sick. It's really miserable when a toddler has the stomach flu.

Laying on blankets on the living room floor, watching Elmo.

Cuddled up on the bed (finally able to keep food down) watching Baby Einstein while mom blogs :)

Vintage Christmas

On Saturday Revolution Church hosted a Christmas event called Vintage Christmas. It was so much fun. Everyone did a great job! Here are some of our highlights...

Sledding down the snow hill with Daddy (so fast!)

Decorating (and eating!) Christmas cookies

Petting the animals in the live nativity scene and meeting Santa for the first time.

Having fun in the falling snow (faux snow!)

Good times had by all the Lees :)

18 Months

A little over a week ago our little Evey turned 18 months! She is in such a fun stage (but really she has always been so fun, it's just her personality).
We saw Dr. Tran this week and she said Evey is doing great! Her height has caught back up with her weight, she's now 25th percentile in both.
Other 18 month happenings:
Evey LOVES Elmo!!
She is talking/gabbering up a storm.
She can imitate almost any word you say, both English and Korean(and the pronunciation is getting better and better every day)
She's great at sharing:)
Loves pretending, she reads books aloud, feeds her stuffed animals and babies, changes their diapers, and puts them to sleep.
RUNS around stores, she keeps us on our toes.
Still hates most vegetables but she's getting better. The only thing she'll eat is squash and brocolli(shocked!)

Birthday Party

I had a wonderful Birthday weekend. My mom, aunt, uncle and cousins were around to help celebrate. On Friday my cousins decorated my office and that night we did a family dinner at CPK. On Saturday, our friends the Goughs, my mom, Andy, Evey and I went to Oak Glen to pick apples (crowded but fun!). That night, while my mom spent time with Evey, Andy and I got to go out to a movie (which we never do anymore). And then to top it all off, Andy and my family threw me a birthday party on Sunday after church. It was a great weekend! Thanks Mom, Aunt Nancy and Uncle Stu, Alicia, Nick and Julia. And I expecially thank Andy, the most awesome husband in the world!
Yes, I am now 30. But this Kalua Cream Pie made it all worth it :)

New family picture

It's funny how lately we don't seem to take any pictures of the three of us. I guess it's just easy to focus on Evey! :) This picture was taken in Maui at a Luau wedding rehearsal dinner for our friends, Ryan and Jen Mallari.
